At Malta Hot Sauce, we take pride in crafting our sauces with real ingredients and high quality standards. Because our products are perishable food items, we generally do not accept returns. However, we want you to be happy with your purchase, so here’s how our refund policy works:
1. No Returns on Opened Products
Once a product is opened or used, it cannot be returned due to food safety concerns.
2. Refunds or Replacements May Be Provided If:
- You receive the wrong product.
- The product arrives damaged, defective, or leaking.
- The product is expired at the time of delivery.
To qualify, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with proof (photo or video) sent to our customer service team.
3. Process for Refunds
Once your claim is verified, we will either:
- Send a replacement product, or
- Issue a refund via the original payment method (may take 5–7 working days).
Refunds will not include delivery/shipping fees unless the error was on our side.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
- You change your mind after purchase.
- You find the product too spicy or different from your personal taste preference.
- The product is not stored properly after delivery (e.g., kept in heat/sun).
